About Bradford White

Bradford White is an employee-owned American manufacturer of residential and commercial water heaters, headquartered in Ambler, Pennsylvania, with its primary manufacturing facility located in Middleville, Michigan. Founded on patents filed by Gerald E. White between 1933 and 1938, Bradford White has grown into one of the largest water heater manufacturers in the United States, competing alongside industry giants such as Rheem and A.O. Smith.

The Bradford White Corporation is made up of four distinct entities: Bradford White Water Heaters, Bradford White Canada, Laars Heating Systems, and Niles Steel Tank, giving the company a broad footprint across the North American water heating and heating systems market.

Bradford White produces a wide variety of water heaters to suit both residential and commercial needs, including natural gas, electric, and propane models. The lineup features high-efficiency and Energy Star certified options, as well as storage tanks designed for use with solar water heating systems. The company has also been active in the tankless water heater space, originally offering the EverHot series, which were rebranded Rinnai units. In 2015, EverHot was replaced by the in-house designed Infiniti series, which introduced exclusive SteadiSet Technology for consistent temperature delivery and Scale Reduction Technology (SRT) to help extend the life of the unit.

One of Bradford White's most distinctive characteristics is its approach to sales and distribution. Unlike many competitors, Bradford White does not sell its water heaters directly to consumers. Instead, its products are sold exclusively through licensed plumbers at wholesale supply houses and installed only by licensed plumbing professionals. The company maintains that this model ensures proper, safe installation and helps prevent building code violations, reflecting a commitment to quality and accountability that extends well beyond the factory floor.New Paragraph
